Goldman Sachs:
American Architectural Inc. is currently proud to be a part of the new Goldman Sachs project, located in the heart of New York's financial district. This groundbreaking project will see through the completion of the largest canopy ever constructed in New York City. Some of the features of this project include: imported linen finish stainless steel, over 750 lites of glass, custom stainless steel glass brackets, as well as unique hand-made structural rafters. This undulating canopy is planned for completion in 2009.

American Architectural Inc. Is proud to honor our Field Supervisor Leo Ortega for receiving the Allied Building Metal industries, Inc. Metalworker of the Year Award.

Leo Ortega has been a part of the AAI team for over seven years as well as serving as an ironworker for the past twenty-five years. Throughout his career, Mr. Ortega has worked on a multitude of challenging and significant projects in the New York City area including Trump Tower and JFK International Airport. Mr. Ortega’s exemplary dedication to maintaining the forward progress of the 545 Madison Avenue Project, even in the face of third-party obstacles, made him an obvious choice for the honor. The downtown project oversaw the completion of 38,000 square feet of custom profile curtainwall used to reclad an existing 17 story structure. 545 Madison features composite panel material of over 16,000 square feet, significant Imported glass panels, and a 12 foot tall perimeter roof louver.

We pride ourselves in our highly functioning intra-office relationships and teamwork within our plant and field locations. Our engineering staff attends weekly continuing education classes with guest lecturers to maintain our knowledge within the field and stay ahead of new technologies and trends.
