11 Times Square :
American Architectural Inc is nearing completion on the Eleven Times Square project. This complex project includes four separate areas of storefront as well as two custom canopies. The most intricate of the areas, the 42nd Street Subway Entrance, includes detailed custom cut aluminum panels with various angles and elevations that are carefully positioned together to create a puzzle-like effect. Nick Suchta, PM on the project added, “The shop really did a great job on this project. Each piece was mocked up before hand and tested for fit, which really cut down on installation time.” In addition to the aluminum panels, the subway entrance also features stainless steel accents and entrance guardrails as well as a canopy that is still in production. The Typical Storefront area includes an impressive radial canopy consisting of painted steel, stainless steel tie backs, as well as compression struts. The radial canopy glass was set in a remarkable two nights. Other areas of the project are the North Retail Entrance Storefront which includes a 40 foot tall glass wall, as well as the Garage Entrance which will consist of painted aluminum panel walls, architectural grille work, lightboxes, and hollow metal doors. American Architectural’s work on this project should be completed near the end of May, the entire project is set for finalization summer 2010.

This certification is the direct result of our Safety Committee whose monthly safety meetings promote an injury free workplace and constantly innovate new solutions to workplace hazards, as well as our dedicated employees who follow all safety protocol and procedures. American Architectural, Inc. employs an in-house staff of over seventy highly skilled staff members, as well as a field division of over one hundred workers.
