American Architectural, Inc. was conceptualized over thirty five years ago. Originally named "Eastern Architectural Systems" our company has continued to expand exponentially and modernize under the keen leadership of John Melching Jr., the son of Eastern Architectural's original founder John Melching Sr., a skilled old world metal craftsman from Germany.
Since its inception American Architectural, Inc. has excelled in the ornamental metal and glass industry, completing many prestigious projects such as the redevelopment of the Statue of Liberty, The United States Census Bureau, the AOL Time Warner Complex in Manhattan, The redevelopment of the Central Park Zoo, Harborside Financial Center in Jersey City, as well as ornate bronze work & entries at the Tropicana, Clarion, and Bally's Casinos in Atlantic City.
Recent projects include the sleek new curtain wall at 4 Union Square, the modernization of SEPTA bus and rail stations in Philadelphia PA, as well as the United States Census Bureau fit out in Washington D.C.
A current sampling of American Architectural, Inc.'s projects include: The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Jet Blue Airways at JFK International Airport, the Lincoln Center Redevelopment Project, CCNY School of Architecture, The Standard Hotel in downtown New York, and New York City's biggest custom canopy currently underway at Goldman Sachs.

American Architectural, Inc. has expanded its territory to now offer services anywhere in the continental United States, as well as British Columbia. As the glass and metal industry continues to modernize and change, so too do our methods of fabrication and installation. American Architectural Inc.'s staff ranges from 110 to 200+ employees depending upon project sizes. Our in-house engineering teams offer the highest level of customer support and experience.
